- Sage Oracle Dual Boiler is a new Premium -espresso machine
- It has a choice of automatic and manual modes and a menu with 15 drinks
- It’s for sale now for £ 2,499.95 directly from Sage
Sage, the company behind many of the best coffee machines I’ve tested here at Techradar, has launched a new two boilers with two boilers so you can pull a shot of espresso and steam milk at the same time without waiting.
Sage Oracle Dual Boiler also allows you to choose between automatic and manual conditions, so you can take control of the entire brewing process to get exactly the flavor profile you want, or let the machine do that work if you just want a good-tasting coffee with minimal effort.
Do you want Oracle Dual Boiler to handle things for you? Just use the color touch screen to choose between a menu with 15 preset drinks, then follow the simple instructions on the screen to grind and brew your coffee and steam the milk to perfection (if needed).
Like Sage Barista impresses with cold extraction that I recently tested, the Oracle Dual Boiler’s menu’s menu and cold options include. From classics like a double espresso or cappuccino to an espresso martini or shakerato (a shaken ice cream drink with simple syrup). There are 15 drinks to choose from, which is more than any other Sage Machine has offered so far.
I am especially looking forward to testing the Oracle double boiler, not least because, unlike most espress machines in the home, it has a heated group set that helps maintain a uniform temperature throughout the brewing process.
The Oracle double boiler also monitors how long it takes to pour each shot, and suggest changes in the grinding size until you get a perfectly extracted espresso. This process, known as ‘Call in’ The Grinder, is one of the most time -consuming parts of making coffee, and it is very useful to have the machine to calculate the right setting ..
Sage also has not skimmed on the accessories. There is a professional quality of 58 mm stainless steel porta filter, and even a matching knock box for your reason (something I wish came with all the best espress machines).
Of course, all this comes at a price, and Sage Oracle Dual Boiler is one of the most expensive espress machines on the home on the market for £ 2,499.95. It is available directly from Sage and from a selection of third -party retailers.
(If the name sounds well known, Oracle Dual Boiler is already for sale in Australia under the brand name Breville, but this is its British debut.)
