Thirteen Terrorists Killed in Ied -Bommer

At least thirteen terrorists were killed when explosives stored in one of their hiding places in the Bannu district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) went out on Sunday. In a separate incident, another terrorist was removed during a pistol fight in Dera Ismail Khan.

According to local sources, Siddiqullah Gurbaz, commander of the Hafiz Yellow Bahadur group in the forbidden Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), seized the Jirga Hall in the former PTI provincial minister Shah Muhammad Wazir and transformed into a militant base in the Bakakhel area in Banu.

Terrorists gathered improvised explosive devices (IEDs) on site as the explosives detonated, resulting in thirteen people’s death including Gurbaz. A large cache of IEDs, grenades, rocket throwers and other explosives had been stored by the connection.

Separate. A terrorist was killed in an exchange of fire between security forces and militants in the Khowi Bahara area, on the outskirts of Dera Ismail Khan.

Security sources said the pistol match took place within Khowi Bahara’s police station’s jurisdiction.

The deceased terrorist was later identified as Zeeshan, son of Ghazi. Zeeshan was involved in several events in Jhangi Chowki and Lakhani areas of Punjab and had become a symbol of fear in the region.

On Saturday, at least 45 terrorists were killed in terrorist operations in various tribal districts in KP, where 19 officials were also martyrated. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Gen Asim Munir later participated in the funeral beans for the martyred officials.
