Rawalpindi:
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has said Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) -Rally on September 27 in Peshawar will decide where the nation stands, and calls for party workers to appear in force.
Gandapur, who spoke outside Adiala Prison Monday after he was not allowed to meet PTI founder Imran Khan, Gandapur said the Peshawar collection will be a crucial moment for the country and add, “Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa is Heartland of PTI-ALLE.”
KP CM declared that the PTI founder and his wife face false cases and say that all of them are manufactured. He emphasized that he was trying to meet Imran Khan in Adiala Prison, but was denied permission. “What is the motive behind blocking meetings? Prevention of these visits is only to create canyons within the party,” he said.
Referring to the Rally in Peshawar, he said it is now crucial to the party’s future. “If we want real freedom, we have to stay together – this is still PTI -base’s message. We can’t afford a fight or pull each other down,” he emphasized. “Without strength, neither negotiations nor wars occur.”
He warned that further restrictions on party leadership communication could aggravate tension. “After today’s press speech, I might not be allowed to meet him [Imran Khan] Again, “he said.” But we must resist. If there is no constitution or law, resistance is our only option. “
Gandapur called for Unity ahead of the rally and added, “Come on two days early if you have to – we will host you. But everyone should stand together in Peshawar on the 27th”
Meanwhile, IMRAN’s sister Aleema Khan has accused the authorities of deliberately delaying the procedure in the Toshakhana 2.0 case by presenting “false witnesses” in court.
When she spoke with media outside Adiala prison after a hearing, she said the charges against the PTI founder were politically motivated and legally deficient. “They are wasting time by bringing false witnesses to Toshakhana 2.0 – and the penalty for false testimonies is seven years in prison,” she claimed.
She also claimed that only a few media representatives are allowed in the courtroom, and even they are not allowed to report freely, adding that the PTI founder is denied fundamental rights, including communication with his children.
In the broader political and security situation, she emphasized the need for a dialogue with several stakeholders to tackle rising militant conditions in KP.
“You can’t end terrorism by expelling Afghans from Pakistan. They were ejected by force. To bring peace to KP, the Afghan government, local tribes and our own government have to sit together,” she said, adding that Pakistan’s armed forces, police and civilians continue to pay the price for watches.
Aleema called for Party Unity and urged all MNAs and MPAs from KP to stand with CM Gandapur and expressed support for constitutional resistance.
