King Charles made a calculated step to punish his disgraceful brother Prince Andrew, the Duke of York through his daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
The monarch has been accused of having made a reckless step towards Andrew by removing his daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, of taxpayer-funded police protection.
The decision, which dates from 2011, is now said to be a calculated step from Charles to weaken the Duke of York’s status inside the monarch.
An insider told RadarOnline, “Charles was fully aware of the effect. Removal of Beatrice and Eugenie’s security was not just about saving money – it was aimed at Andrew.”
“He took it very personally and thought his daughters were made to suffer for his own actions,” they added.
On the other hand, Jennie Bond remembered that Andrew was “very upset, offended, offended on behalf of his daughters by Charles’ decision.”
Meanwhile, Baroness Ayesha Hazarika said it “certainly sent a signal to Andrew, and it certainly sent a signal to the wider public that there was definitely a cooling in the relationship.”
However, Prince Andrew was forced to resign in 2019 after being shrouded in controversy when his bond with Jeffrey Epstein emerged.
When King Charles has since tightened the restrictions on Prince Andrew, the source said, “It was a very conscious step. Andrew has been pushed to the sidelines and stripped by influence.”
“Charles sends an unmistakable message that there is no way back for him,” they added.
