Can you feel the keel in the air, see the leaves on the ground and are already fighting the urge to drink hot chocolate? Cozy season is officially here and that means new Halloween and Christmas movie at Hallmark+. Don’t get me wrong, there are already hundreds to choose from on the streaming service, but who doesn’t love new content?
This new content is especially good when it is fronted by the Queen of Hallmark herself, Lacey Chabert. By the end of 2025 she has been in 44 original films, and it’s easy more than any other actor on the planet. After talking to her, it’s clear that she loves Hallmark as much as it loves her, but that doesn’t mean things can’t be done differently.
Actually her two next film – Pull out of Halloween and She makes a list – is set to have “another taste” for what we have seen before, according to the star – I have no idea what it means, but it doesn’t prevent me from sitting.

“We make a lot more comedy,” Chabert tells me when I ask her how Hallmark has changed over the years. “Pull out of Halloween has premiere on October 11 with Pull out Holly and Pull out of Hollyen turned on To be the first two movies in that series. It was the first time for the network that I had had the chance to do something that was a really wide, just comedy and it was so fun. “
If you haven’t streamed the first two movies yet, do it right away. As you can see from the trailer above, Chabert Emily, who comes home to visit his parents, plays only to find that they are traveling for their own trip. She stays in their house during the holidays and meets members of the community who want her to attend the neighborhood’s Christmas festivals. Trust me, it’s as sweet as it sounds.
“I think people really want to love Pull Halloween out, ” She continues. “I also never made a Halloween movie! We have so many ideas and so many things in the development that continue to give the audience what I think they turn to the channel for the best ways, but also raise the storytelling in every way we can.”
Then there is her next Christmas movie. Netflix — subscribers may remember to binge Hot frosty Last year, but over Hallmark, this is Chabert’s bread and butter.
“Andrew Walker and I’m just finished, She makes a list“Chabert tells me.” We filmed just that in Vancouver and I play a woman working for a company that revises Santa’s naughty or lovely list. I love this movie. That’s another idea. It has a lot more comedy in it, but still has a very sweet romantic side as well as a romance story.
“I don’t want to ruin it for the audience, but it has a bit of everything. This movie, I feel is a little more magical than the ones I’ve done before, and it’s a slightly different taste. I love to make Christmas movies because I love Christmas. It’s my favorite holiday and I get so excited to celebrate, so it’s really fun to make movies about it.”
