Alien: Earth is the barrel against his conclusion – or at least the end of his debut season.
Viewers have had plenty to say about Alien Franchise’s first TV show ever. Whether it is Alien: Earth‘s liberal approach to what is cannon in this universe, its tone-changing needle falls, these shiny plot holes and/or deeply rooted themes the show has given rise to lots of discussion in the last five weeks.
With so much narrative reason to cover in the sci-fi horror series’ next episode, Alien: Earth will probably leave some plot threads hanging and mysteries unresolved when its end credits roll. However, a puzzle that needs to be broken next time involves T. ocellus, alias Eyeball Monster, which the audience has – strange as it is to say – in love with. Larger spoilers immediately follow for eg the first season of the TV original, up to and including its seventh episode.
Alien: Earth‘S latest chapter, entitled’ Emergence ‘, is largely a setup post before next week’s probable explosive season 1 final. Such a historian beach established in ’emergence’ is that Trypanohyncha Ocellus gets a new host.
In fact, after using the last four episodes of thinking about a sheep and doing some pretty horrific things, such as being responsible for Tootle’s death in section 6, within his current host Ocellus by getting an upgrade. And based on a conversation that plays out between Prodigy’s dishonest CEO Kavalier and his right mandatom Eins, it sounds like boy wants ocellus to be transferred to a human host so boy can have a full-blown chat with this incredibly intelligent-not to mention extremely dangerous-struggling life form.
What is even more worrying about some people who currently live Prodigy’s secret island paradise is that boy has any specific in mind for ocellus. So what potential candidates are up to the proverbial chopping block in Hulu and Disney+ Show?
1. CJ HERREMIT
The brother of Wendy/Marcy, CJ has been a thorn in Boy Kavalier’s side ever since he arrived in Prodigy Island.
In fact, not only CJ has repeatedly tried to convince Prodigy to leave him and Wendy/Marcy, but he has tried to do it-with some help from the now deceased Arthur-without Permit in section 7. There is also the small fact that CJ thanks to a new lung after one of his original lungs joined by an almost-fatal run-in with a xenomorf in the episode.
If Boy really wants to get back on CJ to try to leave with one of his $ 6 billion projects (ie Wendy/Marcy), as well as to prove once and for all how unclear he is, to let ocellus take over CJ would be a way to do it. You just have to wonder what Wendy/Marcy and her pet Xenomorph will do to boys if the latter removes the only bloodrative she has left.
2. Lady Sylvia
Another person who has gone into the boy’s cross chairs in recent episodes, Prodigy Scientist Dame Sylvia is another option for boy and ocellus.
First, she is incredibly smart, so it would create a super organism that would be able to orally go into an intellect with ocellus.
Despite Sylvia having no involvement in CJ and Arthur’s plot to help CJ, Wendy/Marcy and Nibs flee, you get the feeling that boy did not believe her when she told him so much in ’emerging’. Boy is clearly an individual who can keep a nag, so if he has no further use to Sylvia and/or no longer appreciates her life, she may be the perfect test that is subject to letting Ocellus take control of.
3rd Morrow
Admittedly, this option is a left field. After all, Morrow is not fully human longer-house, that he is a part-cyborg, so it is anyone’s guess if ocellus would be able to control someone who is only half human.
Nevertheless, using Morrow as OCELLUS ‘next host would be another villainous feature of the boy’s side. Morrow is the property of Weyland-Yutani, one of five mega corporations running Planet Earth. They are also wonderful child’s biggest rival and had several run-ins with the boy’s conglomerate this season because he yeah he stole the outside Alien: Earth‘s story began.
Despite his cybernetic improvements, Morrow may not be the sharpest tool in the box – he proved so much by going straight into Kirsh’s trap in section 7. Still, he comes across as a person who not only tries to think two or three steps ahead but also possess an enlarged body. Imagine what an incredibly smart being like OCELLUS could do with a host like this, and what influence it would have on Weyland-Yutani if boy transforms one of his most valuable assets into a toy for a dangerous unit that their competitor experiments instead of them.
