Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi awarded preliminary bail to Aleema Khan in November 26 D-Chowk Protestag, where Judge Amjad Ali Shah noted no clear evidence against her.
The sister of Pakistan Tehreek-I-Insaf founder was instructed to submit bail bonds on RS50,000 and appear during hearings in cases 26 November.
The case registered by the Sadiqabad police station shows charges, including protest against the government, sings anti-government slag, vandalism and stone pelvation.

After the hearing, Aleema Khan told the media that many PTI employees who were charged in cases on November 26 could not attend the hearing due to severe flood. She requested exceptions to those affected by the floods.
“Today, we requested the right to exempt participation from defendants from flooding hit and operated areas,” said Aleema Khan.
As for the case, she said protest is a constitutional right and cannot be criminalized. “No court can decide a peaceful protest. Any judge who does so is unconstitutionally,” she added.
D-CHOWK PROTEST
On November 13, Imran made a “last call” for nationwide protests held on November 24, demanding the restoration of PTI’s electoral mandate, the release of prisoner party members and the reversal of the 26th amendment which he claimed had authorized a “dictatorial regime.”
The protest was held in D-Chowk, Islamabad, where people traveled from different provinces to honor Khan’s call. The state had rejected any room for negotiation and an operation was carried out against the protesters and the PTI management fled the stage. The protest ended with the operation on November 26.
On November 25, a policeman was killed during clashes with protesters at Jandial Checkpoint near Taxila as Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) supporters continued to push through road barriers and barricades on major highways to head towards Islamabad.
Constable Muhammad Mubashir (46), who had come from Muzaffargarh to help the Rawal Pindi police, sustained critical injuries during the clashes and was moved to DHQ Rawalpindi, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Cases charged
In the Sadiqabad police station a case was filed for vandalism and rebellion; In this case, Aleema Khan has been nominated as an accused and was on bail before occasion.
Consultations on Petitions before the occasion of Bail Submitted by Three PTI MNAs, including Asif Khan, Sajid Khan Mohammad and another, in November 26 D-Chowk Protest Case, was heard on September 16 (Monday) in Anti-Terrorism Court in Islamabad.
All three guarantee care were rejected by Judge Tahir Abbas Supra due to the fact that the petries did not present themselves to the court.
Similarly, protest -related cases are also registered at the Civil Lines Police Station, Taxila Police Station and Waris Khan Police Station. A total of 29 cases have been filed in the Rawal Pindi district related to the D-CHOWK protest. Khan has been accused of seven, while his wife Bushra Bibi has been indicted in all 29.
In these 29 cases, bail has already been awarded to a total of 1,383 accused persons. Among them are Ali Amin Gandapur, Azam Swati, Salar Kakar, Salman Akram Raja; In these 26 cases, all the central management of PTI is nominated as accused.
All the defendants were arrested on November 24, 25, 26 and 27, while the guarantee approvals began six months later, starting from May this year, and ended before July 31.

On November 24, Police Registered Cases Against Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan, His Wife Bushra Bibi, Senior PTI Leader Dr. Arif Alvi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub Khan, and Hundreds of Senior PTI Lawmakers, Leaders, and Workers across Punjab over violent protests.
The fours were submitted under various sections of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA). In seven cases, Imran Khan’s bail petitions were related to the November 26 events filed by his lawyers. In these cases, Khan was formally arrested and sent to court dependent.
A total of seven cases have been filed in the Rawal Pindi district against Imran Khan compared to November 26 D-Chowk Protest, but at any time he can also be nominated and arrested in the remaining 22 cases. In Nasirabad Police Station there is a case of firing, vandalism and the murder of a constability. In New Town Police Station there are two cases filed against Khan for vandalism, rebellion, arson and siege.
