Arizona Cardinals Quarterback Kyler Murray approached one of his recent controversial social media posts.
In a side-plated Instagram post, Murray was shown standing next to his dog-a pit bull-mens he had a Michael Vick jersey.
Atlanta Falcons chose Vick # 1 in total in the NFL draft in 2001, but his career was stopped when he was sentenced to federal imprisonment in 2007 for his role in a dog control ring.

During his latest media availability, Murray tried to facilitate any animal cruelty to his photo may have raised.
“In no way, form or form, I condolences animal abuse or dog fight or whatever it is,” Murray said. “For me personally, you saw me wear the Michael Vick shirt, a player, I admired much growing up. … my dogs, suitcases and swimming, they are both treated as kings.”

Murray added that he noted the answer his photo caused, causing him to remove the post. “In no way, form or form, I condon it. I saw how it affected people and decided to take it down,” he said.

Jersey in the now-acclaimed photo seemed to be a Throwback replica from Vick’s College career at Virginia Tech. Murray’s dog sat near his feet along with a luxury design bag.
The NFL reintroduced Vick after his prison period ended. He returned to the field and played seven more seasons with Philadelphia Eagles, the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Vick turned to broadcast after withdrawing from the NFL. Later he moved into coaching and was appointed head coach of Norfolk State in December 2024.
Norfolk State enters its game against Sacred Heart on September 20 with a 1-2 record.
