New York Jets The broad recipient Josh Reynolds was shot on the back of the head and leg in October 2024 in what is now classified as a case of wrong identity.
The NFL player, when a member of the Denver Broncos, was wounded in a shooting on October 18, 2024, when he and two other people were shot on during a car chase by several suspects who mistakenly thought the trio was involved in a drug-for-scam, Denver post Reported, quotes court documents.

The suspects identified the wrong Reynolds’ group as the people involved in a former drug trafficking in which $ 250,000 in counterfeit money was used to buy cocaine. According to legal registrations, the suspected group monitored the group in a strip club in Glendale on the night of the shooting before following them out and shooting at them during a car chase.

As many as four vehicles were involved in the hunt, the Denver Post reported.
In a statement to Pakinomist Digital at the time, Broncos Confirmed that Reynolds was injured in a shooting.
“Josh Reynolds was a victim of a shooting Friday in Denver and received the treatment of minor injuries,” the statement states. “Out of respect for the legal process, we will further postpone comments to the authorities.”

Broncos recipient Josh Reynolds wounded in shoot after strip club visits
Reynolds was shot at the back of the head and in the left leg. Another individual was shot in the back and a third was injured by broken glass, according to the report. Seven adults and a young man were charged in the shooting and a person remains largely.
Denver Post reported Friday that Burr Charlesworth, 42, was sentenced to 10 years in prison this week after being indicted for Felony Assault. He drove one of the vehicles used during the shooting.

Reynolds, 30, ended the rest of the season 2024 with Jacksonville Jaguars After he was waived by broncos that year. He signed a one-year, $ 5 million deal with Jets during the high season.
