Jordon Hudson may have given his girlfriend, North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick, a PEP speech before his game against UCF, but it didn’t work for Tar Heels Saturday in Central Florida.
Tar Heels was blown 34-9 when UCF dominated on his home ground and dropped North Carolina to 2-2 in Belichick’s initial college-coaching campaign.
Before the game, Hudson was discovered and talked to Belichick on the sidelines, which has become a regular event since his debut at North Carolina in another blowout loss to TCU earlier this season.

It’s unclear what Hudson, 24, and Belichick, 73, discussed on the field, but video caught Hudson whispering in Belichick’s ear before kickoff.
“First of all, he did a good job with UCF today,” Belichick said of coach Scott Frost after the loss. “Their team played well, definitely better than we did. There were too many problems out there to be consistent.”
TAK HEELS allowed 13 unanswered points to start the game and put them in an early hole. They managed a field goal late in the second quarter, but the damage was already done when UCF expanded the lead after that.

“There are a lot of things that we have to do a better job with and they were just better than us today,” Belichick added.
Gio Lopez, Belichick’s Quarterback, threw only 87 yards with two interceptions before suffering from a right -of -third -quarter leg injury that knocked him out of the game.
This was Belichick’s first loss since his debut against the horned frogs. North Carolina turned the tide with a 20-3 victory over Charlotte and blew Richmond 41-6 last week to reach 2-1 in Saturday.
Hudson has been a regular presence on the sidelines before games despite some disagreement with it when she was spotted before the TCU game. Her name was even mentioned by TCU player Bud Clark, who became viral after commenting on Instagram Live after the 48-14 route.

“Belichick has to call his girlfriend,” Clark, who had a pick-six in the victory, was heard about saying in a clip. “… he sad.”
Hudson and Belichick created the wrong type of stirring for the 74 -year -old coach’s debut, especially with a controversial “CBS Sunday Morning” interview.
Hudson said, “We’re not talking about it,” When Belichick was asked how the couple met. E emails obtained by WRAL -Show Belichick, who approached the controversy of his romantic and professional relationship with Hudson, claiming that CBS “secretly” had a camera that focused on her despite her request to sit at the camera.
“I met Jordon randomly on a flight to Palm Beach in 2021. It’s no secret,” Belichick wrote in another e -mail. “Jordon did not avoid the specific question of how we met, but rather prevented the interview from continuing to investigate personal affairs.”
Hudson also handles Belichick’s career options off-the-Field, and since the relationship began, it has been the punchline of jokes of award exhibitions as well as a story in National Sports Media.

North Carolina Football Master Michael Lombardi insisted that Belichick’s relationship with Hudson is not a distraction for the program.
“I mean, a lot of it’s just noise,” he told ESPN Radio’s “Marty & McGee” in June. “And for us to be distracted by something that has no meaning that has no relevance at all, it is a complete falsehood as to what people say, or what they write. It is comical. And to me to really even attack someone who says it gives them credibility. Which I do not because it is a completely false tale.”
