Before the Philadelphia Eagles played Los Angeles Rams in week 3, Star Running Saquon Barkley had to pay.
The NFL offered Barkley, this year’s offensive player in 2024, $ 46,371 to lower his helmet in a Kansas City Chiefs player under Eagles’ Week 2 Road Win.

No flag was thrown on the play, but after reviewing, the league announced the fine before the week 3 kickoff.
The dollar amount comes from Barkley, who committed a similar violation last season. According to NFL rules, $ 46,371 is the penalty for another offense.

Officering controversy was a theme that day, especially on Philadelphia’s card-yardage act.
The most notable came on the team’s signature -tush -push game in the fourth quarter. Replays seemed to show more eagles linen moving before snap, indicating a false start. No flag was thrown and the play set the game -winning touchdown.
The NFL later admitted that officials missed the call and said a flag should have been thrown. As a result, Week 3 is expected to have tighter official on tush -push under Fox’s “America’s Game of the Week” between Eagles and Rams.

Barkley will try to Torkel Rams’ defense again after his initial Eagles campaign in 2024, when he ran in 255 yards on 26 wears with two touchdowns. He also caught four passports from Jalen hurt that day in 47 yards.
