Representatives of civil society urged the Sindh government to strictly enforce the law of restraint with children marriage and warn that minor marriages remain violent due to poor implementation. In a dialogue in Mirpurkhas, organized by Hari Welfare Association, activists and officials expressed alarm over the persistence of practice. The event also marked the launch of a civil society for district level that focused on protecting children’s rights and preventing early marriages.
