Helping operations in flooded areas are carried out by relevant institutions and welfare organizations under the supervision of National Disaster Management Authority.
So far, national and international welfare organizations have distributed a total of 7,348 tonnes of relief.
NDMA has also mobilized the private sector and industrial institutions and determines areas for relief activities according to the need.
Medical camps and mobile health units have also been established, while ambulances, tents, hygiene sets and mosquito nets are provided by welfare organizations in the affected areas.
