Islamabad:
Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) leader and MNA Sahibzada Hamid Raza has withdrawn from her position as information secretary for the opposition alliance, Tehreek Tahaffuz-E-Aeen Pakistan (TTAP).
Raza announced his resignation after an emergency meeting in Sunni Itthad Council. He said the decision was made in accordance with the party’s instructions and that the alliance’s spokesman, Akhunzada Hussain, has been formally informed.
“I have stepped down as TTIP Information Secretary in accordance with party directives,” Raza said, adding that he has already notified the relevant quarters.
