Hisense has launched a brand new Triple-Laser projector designed for home theater lovers “who are more interested in performance than about frills” and it is very competitive.
The PT1 Triple Laser Cinema is designed to project images from 80 inches to 150 inches, and because it is an ultra-card Kast projector, it can do so from only a few centimeters away. It provides 2,500 ANSI lumens of brightness and has a contrast ratio of 3,000: 1.
PT1 is available in both the US and the UK. The British model runs Vidaa U7.6 OS rather than Google TV for the American model, but is otherwise identical.
Hisense PT1 Triple Laser Cinema: Key Specifications and Pricing
The core of PT1 is Hisense’s Triple Laser Light, which as the name suggests uses a trio of lasers – red, green and blue – to deliver 110% of the BT.2020 color site, which is outside the convention of conventional TV.
There is support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+, plus IMAX improved certification with Dolby Atmos and DTS: X Surround Sound for immersive sound. And of course, there is an AI-UPSCALER to bring down images with lower resolution up to 4K. There is compatibility with both Google Assistant and Alexa in the US version.
One of the most appealing features of PT1 Triple Laser Cinema is its price tag: $ 2,999. In the UK, the official award is £ 1,999, but retailers are already showing it at membership prices as low as £ 1,699, which is very competitive among the best ultra -short throwing projectors.
P1T’s price makes it significantly more affordable than the same company’s very impressive L9Q Laser TV, which is about twice as much as the price of both markets. This Triple-Laser projector is lighter-5,000 lumen to P1T’s 2,500-and can go larger with a maximum recommended size of 200 inches. However, if you do not live in a massive mansion with sunlight streaming in from all directions, P1T is probably a better fit for both space and budget.
