Sean “Diddy” Combs returned to the federal court in Manhattan this week to challenge his conviction of prostitution fees.
In the Court of Judge Arun Subramanian, Combs appeared in a good mood – Smection, greeted his lawyers and waved the family in the audience.
Each page then had 20 minutes to make their case about whether July 2nd overdress should stand.
His lawyers who claimed that the Prostitution Act applies only to Hallik, not clients and asked the judge to throw out the verdict. Prosecutors disagreed and said Combs’ actions were violent, even as a spectator.
If the conviction is maintained, the hip-hop mogul may have up to 20 years in prison at his judgment on October 3rd. However, his team is pushing for only 14 months, which could see him soon released with time already served in the middle of the trial.
Judge Subramanian did not make an immediate decision, but said a decision would soon come.
