After briefly flirting with the idea that today’s theme could have something to do with boat tires, I was left in little doubt that it wasn’t, after finding clubs in my familiar starting place in the upper left corner.
From here I could have continued to find the other three suites, but King was looking at the opposite corner and this unlocked queen and Jack.
The only difficult thing today was to see back games, which unusually I left until last after completely a clean sweeping of the board. Possibly the easiest game of the month.

What is new threads?
Strands is Nyt’s non-new-new-more word games after Wordle and connections. It is now a fully expanded member of Nyt’s Games Stable, which has been running for a year and can be played on the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
