Oregon, who was Kirk’s favorite college football team, agreed to win the game in a 30-24 thriller. Oregon Defensive Back Dylan Thieneman drew a game -sealing interception overtime and ensured that Kirk’s favorite team won in front of thousands of supporters wearing his signature jersey.

Conservative influencer Benny Johnson organized an event that distributed 5,000 of the shirts to fans ahead of Saturday’s match at Beaver Stadium parking grounds.

Johnson shared recordings earlier Saturday showing a number of people waiting for the shirts. The line packed around several sections in the parking lot, with the amount cheering as he boasted the length.

Eventually a loud “US!” Chant broke out.

Turning Point USA (TPUSA) announced its event to give away 5,000 of t-shirts to fans participating in Oregon vs. Penn State Game at Beaver Stadium in University Park, Pa., Saturday.

Kirk wore the now iconic shirt on September 10, when he was talking at an Utah Valley University event when a single shot was fired from the roof of a nearby building that killed the 31-year-old man and father of two. The attack has destroyed the nation and TPUSA has promised to continue the mission that Kirk worked so passionately for.

“In the friend and in honor of Charlie Kirk we will fight for cultural battles, and we will win them in an arena that Charlie loved so much – college -football,” Johnson announced on Thursday of “Will Cain Country.”

“Turning Point USA, at Weekly Games, Penn State Versus Oregon Ducks, this will be a massive game. This was a game that Charlie Kirk was going to attend. Charlie Kirk Loves Oregon, but he also has a lot of fans in Penn State and has made big events there,” Johnson continued. “Turning Point USA awards 5,000 Charlie Kirk Freedom Shirts on that game.”

Johnson, who held a “freedom” jersey identical to the one that Kirk was wearing when he was killed said it would be a whiteout game, which is a penn state tradition where fans dress throughout white.

Kirk has often been honored at major football events since his murder earlier in September.

Oregon football head coach Dan Lanning previously offered his condolance to Kirk’s wife, Erika, and their two children after his team’s 34-14 victory over Northwestern earlier this month.

But in a long -standing response regarding the current culture of the United States, Lanning asked Americans to look at his own dressing room and said, “The people in this world can learn a lot from [it]”

“You walk in the dressing room, you have guys of different races, guys with different backgrounds, different religions, and you have a team that loves each other. Tons of differences. Where they come from what they handle, and ultimately you have a team that loves each other and I think we’re missing some of it in our country,” Lanning said.

I recently found out that Charlie Kirk was an Oregon fan, right? I didn’t know. I hurt his wife, Erika, and their children. That kind of evil should never exist in our country, and that’s what it is – the evil. I remember having to explain it to my family, right? “I remember sitting with my kids explaining what happened and they talk about people talking about it at school. And it’s just sad, the right thing?” For not to? “That’s right?” That’s right? “For not to?” The right thing said Lanning.

“But it’s just as sad every day it seems that we are dealing with some kind of violence that is going on in our country, whether it is schoolchildren in Colorado or children in Minnesota in churches. I mean life matters, and I think we have lost sight of it. a pile of people there. ”
