Mora announces scholarships for minority students

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interreligious Harmony has invited online scholarships to students from minority society enrolled in government institutions, with the submission deadline set for October 28.

Qualified applicants must be Hindu, SIKH, Christian, Buddhist or from other minority societies enrolled as ordinary students in government institutions from primary to professional university level.

Students must have scored at least 50 percent brands in their last annual exam and their parents or guardians’ monthly income must not exceed RS80,000.

Students who already benefit from another scholarship and belong to private institutions are not entitled to apply.

Applicants must first submit their forms online on the official site of MORA. After online submission, a printed copy of the computer form must be forwarded to the Ministry within five days, verified and certified by the head of their institution.

Required documents include certified copies of the student’s recent Marks sheet, an original income certificate for the father or Guardian, an Nadra, B form, CNIC and Bank Account Information.

Applications must be submitted online for processing before October 28.
