The 4 -month -old son of Nascar Driver Tyler Reddick is in a cardiovascular intensive care unit in North Carolina after showing signs of “heart failure”, Reddick’s wife revealed in a social media post this weekend.
Alexa Reddick shared the health update in a post on Instagram Sunday.

“After a race for several months with the pediatrician’s office, I knew what was going on was something bigger. Always rely on your mother Tarm. Our sweet rookie showed signs of Heart failure that was missed. “

She continued, “Please pray for this sweet guy that God heals his heart. With God, Rookie and His amazing doctors here at Levine’s I think he can. We are in the cardiovascular ICU while we get some answers and work to improve the heart function. I usually do not share our personal life but I hope you take time to pray for him today.”
The couple’s son, their second child born in May, remained in the hospital. Alexa Reddick shared more positive updates Monday.

The NHL star reveals fiancĂ© received heart transplantation after having suffered ‘greater heart failure’ during vacation
“Get out of oxygen today, got some answers and screamed straight up after a transfusion!” She wrote in a post that was shared to Instagram stories.
“He says thank you all for your prayers and friendly messages,” she added in another history post.
Reddick ran Sunday at Kansas Speedway in a central Nascar playoff race, where he placed seventh.

He is now facing elimination of playoffs on his way into the next Sunday race.
