The video, shared by Kensington Palace, showed Gary, who received honor from William in his decades of memorable performances across movies and TV.
The special message that was shared on behalf of William Read, “Thank you, Sir Gary Oldman, for decades of unforgettable performances – whether it is as a whole or crook or something in between!”
Referring to the Oscar -Winner’s series Slow Horses, read the headline further: “Not bad for a slow horse …”
“Congratulations to anyone who received awards today,” the headline concluded.
It is worth mentioning that Sir Gary Oldman himself revealed the naughty remark from Prince William while awarding his knight.
As quoted by Metro, Gary revealed that while William admitted to being a fan of his current series, he added that every time he sees the actor in the series, he just wants “to give a good washing.”
As Gary Ghostly replied, “Well, I think I’ve scrubbed OK today.”
