Non-accessible Warrants issued to Imaan Mazari

Islamabad:

Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka on Tuesday issued non-accessible arrest warrants for lawyer and activist Imaan Mazari and activist on social media Hadi Ali Chatha in the controversial tweets case, addressing the police to arrest and produce them before the court.

At the beginning of the hearing, the court formally admitted to the two accused. However, none of them were present in the courtroom at the time. Instead, their assistant adviser appeared on their behalf.

When the court was asked by the court about their absence, the lawyer said both had participated briefly but left for another hearing in Rawalpindi.
