Islamabad High Court (IHC) Senior Puisne -Judge Mohsin Akhtar Kayani has said that Chief Justice of Pakistan, Yahya Afridi, and the leader of the SC Constitution (CB), Justice Aminuddin Khan, should come to IHC and sit with its judge to understand the situation there.
“This will solve all questions, including internal problems in court,” justice Kayani said Tuesday, talking to journalists after a Supreme Court’s hearing.
Five IHC Jordmere-Kayani, Babar Sattar, Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri, Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan and Saman Rafat IMTIAZ participation in both Monday and Tuesday-Procedures Company of a Five Member CB-of Petitions filed against an IHC order.
An IHC division bench led by Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar on September 16, Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri stopped in performing his duties as it began the procedure of a quo -warranto -arriving that accused him of having a dubious LLB degree.
On September 19, five IHC judges, including Justice Jahangiri, went to the Supreme Court personally to submit separate constitutional petitions, making eleven different prayers, including one seeking the cancellation of the IHC order that prevents Jahangiri from court work.
CB Tuesday IHC Interim Order broke. After securing short relief from CB, the five IHC judges answered questions from journalists.
Justice Kayani told journalists that the IHC judges felt as if they were standing in the dock as accused persons. When asked if the judges should form a trade union, Justice Kayani said it wasn’t about creating a trade union to push someone.
