Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha File written statements in controversial tweet -sag

Human Rights Attorneys Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chattha assessed a district and sessions on Wednesday that they will turn to Islamabad High Court to challenge his court’s case so far in the controversial tweet case against them.

Irked of Mazari and Chattha’s absence yesterday (Tuesday) had District and Session Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka issued non-accessible arrest warrants for Mazari and Chattha.

The Court rejected their request to be apologized for the hearing and had ordered the police to arrest the two and produce them in court if they did not appear.

Police had submitted to the charge, but the mano husband and wife’s lawyer duo were not indicted when they were not present in court.

When the consultation resumed today, Mazari and Chattha presented written petitions informing the court of their intention to contest the procedure for IHC.

The case against them centers around tweets submitted by Imaan on X, which has been termed controversial and anti-state. Chatta was included in the investigation to gentweet the mentioned posts.
