Cleveland chose Gabriel in the third round of 2025 NFL draft. The former Oregon stand out bound an FBS record for most touchdown passes. He struggled with Kenny Pickett and Shedeur Sanders to earn the backup job in training camp.

Gabriel already received some action this season. In the 10 snaps he has played, he is 3-for-4 with a touchdown pass and 19 passing yards.

Flacco, a Super Bowl master, has gone without a touchdown pass in the last two matches and has three interceptions during that time. The Veteran Quarterback has 815 passing yards, two touchdown passes and six interceptions throughout the first four weeks of the season.

It seems that Sanders will continue to be the third on Browns’ depth cards. Browns chose him in the fifth round of the draft of Colorado. Sanders made eyebrow-gathering comments last week in an interview with ESPN Cleveland.

“I know if you see the quarterback game in the league right now, I know I’m able to do better than that,” he said.

Sanders said he has prepared himself as if he could be called at any time.

“I don’t think play or not play is in my hands. I think, based on the situation, if things panel where I play, then I’m out there ready to play. I’m ready to play right now,” he said.

“I focus every day on what I have to do, and just because of where I’m in depth, I don’t let it dictate my mind every single day. You don’t know what can happen or could happen. So it’s really just keeping the mindset of staying locked inside and staying in everything. Remaining focused on the same thing.”

It’s back to see what the future has for Sanders.

The Browns and the Vikings play in London on Sunday.
