When it comes to October-friendly movies, Paramount+ is not messed around; There are over 100 new paramount+ movies that are rolled out over the month, which is a lot to get through, I know, but let me help you narrow it down.
In and among typical Halloween -passing films that Scream (1996) and The fly (1986), are action and thriller movies that get some time in the limelight on one of the best streaming services. Louis Bloom (Jake Gyllenhaal) is a thief and hustler in Los Angeles, but when he witnesses a brutal accident and sees men gathering video footage for a local news broadcast, he has a light raising moment and believes this is a career he could excite.
When he acquires a video camera and a police scanner, he runs to the scenes of crashes, fires and robberies to catch footage to a TV station and develop a collaboration with news director Nina Romina (Rene Russo). The station is impressed with his work, but his success causes him to manipulate events to capture the most shocking footage.

In 1982, Johannesburg, a spaceship landed and leaves millions of foreign beings stranded – referred to as ‘shrimp’ when humans discover the foreign population on board, the South African government limits them to a camp called District 9.
Tying later, the government performs a relocation of the alien species to another camp, with the MNU bureaucrat Wilkus (Sharlto Copley) tasks to help the mission. When he is contaminated by a stranger’s liquid, he slowly folks to a shrimp, resulting in him hiding in the camp, but his employers at MNU see him as a useful key to finding a way to serve the advanced weapons of the shrimp.
Zero Dark Thirty (2012)

His path is quickly uncovered by the ruthless murderer Anton Chigurh (Bardem), which triggers a manhunt. When Moss tries to keep one step ahead, Chigurh stops nothing to pick up the cash, even if it means killing everyone who is affiliated with his goal along the way.

When widowed David (John Cho) finds out that his 16-year-old daughter Margot (Michelle LA) has disappeared, he gets the police to do a search. 37 hours into the search and no progress has been made, so David decides to take the cases in his own hands and look at it somewhere that the police do not have – her laptop.
During his search, he discovers that he actually hardly knew his daughter and is forced to confront her hidden online life. From uncovering suspicious transactions to her absence from class, David continues his hectic search, no matter how painful it is, resulting in a shocking plot twist.
