Kate Middleton has decided to take an alert approach to parents by using the trauma -informed technique called “Tempo”, for her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
According to Radar online, The princess of Wales is determined to break the cycle of emotional strain that affected her husband, Prince William.
An insider told the publication that Kate is focused on ensuring that her children are growing up feeling safe and unpresented.
“For Catherine, this is not abstract – she knows that the toll life went to William, especially after losing her mother Princess Diana at such a young age,” they said.
The insider added, “She is determined that her children are not left with that kind of trauma, and techniques like pace are part of her way of shielding them.”
“Catherine knows her children are growing up under constant control. Her priority is to make sure they feel safe and unpressed.
“For her, it’s not just about parenting methods – it’s about protecting them from the weight of the royal life.”
According to the publication, this method encourages slowing down interactions to match a child’s natural pace as it gives them the time they need to treat their surroundings calmly.
Kate joined the Royal Foundation Center for Project Childhood Project, which promotes this approach and now hopes to protect her children from the challenges of growing up in the royal limelight.
