Cleveland Browns Rookie Quarterback Shedeur Sanders became viral in the dressing room after pantomiming during the journalists’ questions and why exactly he did it have been uncovered.

Sanders moved his mouth and made hand gestures, but no words came out of his mouth as journalists continued to try to get an audible answer out of Browns’ third-string signal call.

His reasoning? ESPN reported, citing team officials, that comments from former NFL head coach Rex Ryan earlier this week on the network’s “Get Up” show are the reason why Sanders decided to play games with journalists.

“This boy runs my mouth like, ‘I got could be a starting quarterback,’ with his arms crossed like this. Get your A – in the front row and study and do all that. If I know, the whole league said,” Ryan said on the program. “Stop being an embarrassment that way. You got the talent to be a quarterback. You have to be embarrassed that you’re not quarterback now.”

MIMING ACT from Sanders came after Brown’s Bemched 40-year-old veteran quarterback Joe Flacco to Rookie Dillon Gabriel, Oregon product, taken two rounds before Sanders in 2025 NFL Draft. Main coach Kevin Stefanski moved before Browns’ Week 5 -Matchup against Minnesota Vikings in London.

Gabriel has been Flacco’s backup since the beginning of the 2025 season, when Stefanski made it clear that he showed more than Sanders in the forth season to win the role. Now, after Browns began 1-3, Stefanski gives the first crack by earning the starting job for Gabriel.

Sanders got the first trial start with Gabriel Hurt during training camp, where they were 14-of-23 in 138 yards with two touchdown passes. Sanders was unable to play in the second preseason game due to injury, though he had some series in the last.

However, Gabriel is the only one with action in regular season after playing 10 snaps earlier this season. He went 3-of-4, passing in 19 yards with a touchdown pass in his short time below the middle.

Browns make a change as Flacco has thrown for only two touchdowns to six interceptions, while the offense average 14 points per Match. Stefanski will see change and he has confidence in Gabriel to make it happen abroad.
