Kate Middleton shares how she left her children disappointed

Kate Middleton received a hot welcome on Thursday when she visited RAF Coningsby on Wednesday and marked her first official commitment as Royal Honor Air Commodore of the base.

Kat took over the role last year and succeeded Prince William, who previously had honorary title.

During her visit, she met staff and their families and stopped to chat with children who formed what spectators described as the “sweetest welcoming selection.”

The princess, who appeared in a high mood, shared a personal glimpse of her family life and revealed that her youngest son, Prince Louis, has ambitions to become a fighter pilot.

She added that all three of her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Louis would have been disappointed to miss the chance to see a typhoon beam up close.

RAF CONINGSBY, located in Lincolnshire, is one of the Royal Air Force’s most important fighter bases and home to the front line strength.

The base also houses the Battle of the UK Memorial Flight, which preserves historic aircraft.
