Netease Games has revealed the details of Marvel rivals Season 4.5 that introduces a new hero, condition and the long-awaited cross-platform progression.
Season 4.5, entitled Heart of the Dragon, officially arrives next week on October 10, adding one of the most expected heroes to the wake list yet, the man without fear, Daredevil.
Daredevil was leaked a while ago, but Netease Games has finally confirmed that Devil of Hell’s Kitchen will be a duelist in a gameplay show window showing its full set and ultimate ability containing a demonic twist.
“Matt Murdock has always fought for the innocent, both as a lawyer and as Daredevil, protects of Hell’s Kitchen. With superhuman senses compensating for his lack of vision, this man jumps without fear in action without hesitation,” reads the trailer description.
“After Daredevil conquered the demon known as ‘The Beast’, he found himself with a true devil inside. One of the prisoners of the beast, Yinglong, offered to help Daredevil exploit this demonic power. After making a new name: ‘Dizang.’ Dizang. Pronounced prison to the sanctuary of a refugee and earned himself a new name: ‘Dizang.’ Dizang.

Alongside a new hero, season 4.5 will finally start implementing cross-platform progression. The developers confirmed that this will not be the full launch of the feature and that it will invite a small group of players to test it in the middle of the season, so it will officially be ready for season 5.
As it goes live, career statistics and rank are tracked independently, while ranked and leaderboard positions remain separated for each platform.
When Halloween comes up, NetEease has also confirmed that a Halloween theme event will be added to the game along with a special game mode, although more details are expected to reach the Thailand Game Show on October 17.
