The only possible alternative theme today was a search for things needed to charge, but after finding boss and manager in quick order, it was obvious what kind of words we were looking for – over my paysgrade!
Hopefully you bossed this game. I did, but I also became lazy and took a hint to speed up things – my love for shortcuts that may have demonstrated why I am not management material.
Director was my last word and it took me a surprising time to train. Over a year of playing threads every day and I still become bamboo.

What is new threads?
Strands is Nyt’s non-new-new-more word games after Wordle and connections. It is now a fully expanded member of Nyt’s Games Stable, which has been running for a year and can be played on the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
