Atlanta Braves won 76 games and fell well during the playoffs.
Shortly after the Braves defeated Pittsburgh Pirates in the final of the regular season, long -time manager Brian announced he would not return to Dugout next season.
The 69-year-old will move into a special advisory role. He spent almost half a century with the Braves organization in different capabilities, many of them as a smaller league player and coach. His decade-long race as Atlanta’s skipper was highlighted by the 2021 World Series title.

Braves Chairman and CEO Terry McGuirk said that cuts would be introduced into the team’s Hall of Fame next year, according to the 680 fan.

This comment withdrew criticism from the Baseball Hall of Famer and Braves Icon Chipper Jones.
“U is … without a doubt … a clown! Only an absolute, talentless, gasbag …. would take this opportunity to celebrate a wonderful retirement by cutting the generation GM and manager who ignited the last 35 years of baseball refuge. U cannot be serious with this post,” Jones replied.
Jones, who spent most of his career with cuts as his manager, also responded to a fan who suggested “Braves under -tested during this Bobby Cox Office.”
“[B]Lowering a 2-0 lead against Yankees in 98 was just one of the many times, ”wrote a user for social media.

“Hmmm… .I have 2 WS-Rings, 2 NL-Rings. How many did you get Einstein? We were 2-0 in ’96. If you want to argue, at least seem knowledgeable. Pades/Yankees was ’98,” Jones disproved.
Cox was at New York Yankee’s coaching staff during their World Series Run from 1977. He managed bravely for 25 seasons over two stints.
