McMahon got away without injuries, and Schlittler pulled Trevor Story to end the ining and his excursion.

Amed Rosario, in the game for the left-right matchup against early, came through with an RBI single to get Yankees on the board first. Then Austin Wells played openly as his sharply hit ball to the first base resulted in a Nathaniel Lowe error scoring two races.

With the victory in the winner-Take-All Matchup, Yanke will now go to Toronto to meet Blue Jays, who held on to the Al East title at the end of the regular season.
