Miley Cyrus looks back on ‘brutal’ early popstardom

Miley Cyrus reflects on the early popstardom

Miley Cyrus remembers the “brutal” fall of his child-to-pop-star change.

In a teaser video of the 32-year-old singer’s upcoming conversation with CBS SUNDAY MORNING, Cyrus opened up the setback she has faced throughout her career, especially after violating the pop world and admitting that she did not find “tough” criticism until later.

“I was the first person to ever be canceled, I assume,” she said, referring to her transformation from Child Star to a pop star

“Well, you know I didn’t know until I was older, actually how brutal it really was because it was a lot, I assume you know, challenging for other people,” she continued. “But for me it was a good time. It looked funny and it was fun.”

Cyrus did not specify what events she is talking about and what she means when she talks about criticism, but she is no stranger to it. In 2009, she pulled the setback to dance on a rod attached to an ice cream truck during Teen Choice AwardsAnd the following year, a leaked video showed her smoking from a bong.

“It was only before I was older that I realized how hard [the criticism was] And you know it just – I never wanted to be now, where I am, ever look at someone in my 20s from the view of who I am now, ”she noted

Cyrus added, “So I think it was. But at that time it was great.”
