Meghan Markle debuts in Paris Fashion Week with an elegant entrance.
The Duchess of Sussex turned to her Instagram story on Friday when she went into a pair of black heels to show support for Pierpaolo Piccioli, the new creative director of Balenciaga.
The spokesman for the Duchess says: “Over the years, the Duchess has worn a number of designs of Pierpaolo. They have worked closely together and collaborated on design for key vones of the world scene.”
They add of Meghan and Piccioli: “She has long admired his craft and modern elegance, and tonight it was no different. This evening reflects the culmination of many years of art and friendship, reflected in her support for her new creative chapter in Balenciaga.”
This comes as Meghan is preparing to accept Project Healthy Minds’ Humanitarians of the Year Award with husband, Prince Harry, next month.
When he talked about it in a statement, Harry and Meghan said, “Working with families and young people to prioritize security online has been one of the most meaningful work in our lives. As parents, we have been moved to the action of the power of their stories and are honored to support them. We are proud to be long -term partners of the project’s healthy mind as we work together to shine a light on what is one of the most pressing.”
