Sydney Sweeney Dised to get 35 kg after a merciless three months of training for her portrayal as a female boxer in her new film.
In a recent chat during a Q&A session at Hampton’s International Film Festival, Sydney, on Sunday, the actress shared insight into her diet and training routine for her role as female boxer Christy Martin in biopic Christy.
“Every morning I wanted to weight for an hour, then I went and boxer for three hours and then another hour of weight training at night. I did it every single day for three months, with a nutrition physiologist, so eating a lot of food and protein shaking and supplements.
The Euphoria Star revealed that Martin was also “involved” during the creation of biopic.
She continued to say, “She became kind of my best friend. Having her with us was a truly powerful experience.”
“I’ve never had the person that I make a look at me. You are never really sure what they are thinking. But when it went, I just wanted her there all the time because I was able to study her and listen to her and have her thoughts and opinions there when I needed,” The Echo Valley Actress shared.
“I try to lose myself completely for a role, so I try not to carry any of my own things into their lives. But I honestly learned so much from Christy that I used myself,” SWEENEY concluded.
