Ayesha Curry, Kona to the Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, raised eyebrows with comments she made in a performance at Alex Cooper’s Podcast.
Comments Curry became viral on social media this weekend, even when her “call her daddy” podcast performance took place in August. In the interview, Curry admitted that she never had immediate plans to marry and have a great family – life has just happened.

“No. So I didn’t want to have kids. I didn’t want to get married,” Curry said. “I thought I was going to be a ‘career girl’ and that was it. And I had my eyes set on my goals. I was never the little girl who dreamed of the wedding dress and all this. And then it happened so early in my life. That’s one of those things that you actually don’t know what you want.”
Curry talked to Cooper about getting married at 10pm. She said she was pregnant with her first child about a month after she got married.
She sometimes said she thought she chose between her career and her relationship.
“Yes, to some extent. It was never presented in front of me that way. It just had to be that way, and because … After we got married, we found out we were pregnant with our daughter so fast, I didn’t even have time to think about what else I wanted,” she said. “It’s so interesting. I spent my whole life trying to work against something, and then it just just disappeared and I didn’t think about it twice.

“After my daughter turned one, I remember there was a shift and being like, oh, I have goals for myself. This doesn’t feel right. I love to be a mother, but I also love to do other things and I have to get my s — together and find out what it looks like for myself now.”
Like 22 years old, Curry said she wasn’t ready for what was going to come. But she just knew she was in love with him and that he was the one she would spend the rest of her life with.
As his fame grew on the field, her popularity grew off the field.
She approached to navigate the added spotlight who came as wife of an NBA -Master -Superstar who became the most popular athlete in the US
“He’s so gracious. He’s trying to resonate with me, but he just can’t,” she said. “And he also comes from a place with similar, it’s stupid. As, it’s not true so why are you [upset]? And I’m like, but wait, listen to how it makes me feel. And he’s like ‘but why does it make you feel like that? That’s not right. “
