Karachi: Pakistan’s Arfan father advanced to the semi-finals of the Asian Heball Championship after a remarkable day when he defeated two Indian cueists back-to-back.
The British-based player first underpowered India’s Shahbaaz Adil Khan 7–3 in the round of 16 years before leaving Shivam Arora 7-6 in a tense quarter-final meeting.
Arfan is now facing another Indian player, Sundheep Gulati, in the semi -final match later today.
Heyball, known as the Chinese version of 8-ball pool, differs mainly in table standards and pocket designs.
Pakistan is represented by the championship of two players – Arfan Dad and Nadeem Gull. However, Gull was removed in the round of 32.
