A game similar to Kansas City Chiefs would dominate early onto a nightmare in front of their eyes.
Trevor Lawrence led a strong comeback over the three-time AFC masters to give Jacksonville Jaguars a 31-28 win.
It looked like it was all Kansas City early when Chiefs reached a 14-0 lead with touchdowns by Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. However, Trevor Lawrence was able to find Parker Washington before the end of the first half, and Lawrence ran one onto Jacksonville’s first drive of the second to tie it up.

Chiefs reacted by marjers all the way down the field and got a huge third down by Hollywood Brown on the Jacksonville 3-yard line. On the second down, however, Mahomes’ oblique to Juju Smith-Schuster was captured by Devin Lloyd in 1 and turned 99 meters back to the house, giving Jaguars a 21-14 lead by 2:19 to go in the third quarter.
After forcing a Chiefs-Punt, the Jags had the whole momentum-to Lawrence threw an eavesdropping inside his own 20-yard line. After a 14-yard catch of Kelce, Kareem Hunt stuck one in from five meters out and tied the game at 1 p.m. 21 with 12:20 left, but Jacksonville got the lead again with a field goal a few minutes later. However, Chiefs went on a 12-play 87-yard drive that ended up with Hunt’s second rushing touchdown at night to take a 28-24 lead with 1:45 to go.
Lawrence and Jags had one last chance with two timeouts and he entered the red zone with 48 seconds left. A passport in the final zone was captured, but Chiefs was called on for defensive passport interference, giving the Jacksonville ball on the 1-yard line. On the next acting, Lawrence, albeit with a trip to the grass, rushed in for a score and gave Jaguars a 31-28 lead with 23 seconds to go.

Chiefs had three timeouts, but with the ball inside their own 20, they couldn’t even get anything going on, and a Hail Mary came well card to give the hunt.
It was the first victory for Jacksonville over Kansas City since 2009.
Lawrence threw only 221 yards on 18-for-25-forbipicing, but his two rushing touchdowns helped. He was also the team’s leading rusher with 10 bears in 54 yards. Mahomes went 29-for-41 in 318 yards.
Lawrence, who also celebrated his 26th year’s birthday, admitted that there was “pure panic” on his fall as Jags had no timeouts.
“Was stepped down by coming out and I was like ‘I have to get up.’ And I wanted to throw it out of bounds to stop the clock and there really was no one around me.

They are definitely not in panic on their 4-1 record. Meanwhile, Kansas City dropped to 2-3.
Jaguars host Seattle Seahawks next week, while Chiefs hosts the Detroit Lions.
