Battlefield 6 Season 1 is launched shortly after the game arrives. It starts by adding new weapons and a new vehicle along with a brand new card. From there, there are major updates planned right up to the end of the year, and presumably EA will detail the following season.
There’s not long left until Battlefield 6 Releases and early characters are actually very good. The series has gone back to the basics, focusing on destructive environments and different classes in a way that comes back to the glossy days of Battlefield 3. After playing a bunch of the beta already, I am convinced that it Battlefield 6 End up on our best FPS gameist by the end of the year. Looking ahead, there are plenty of players to be excited about, including the return of a Battlefield Battle Royale mode.

Battlefield 6 Season 1 Release Date ASND TIME
Battlefield 6 Season 1 arrives on October 28, 2025 – though we do not know the exact time of day it will launch and if there will be any downtime yet; We will update this page as soon as we do.
From this release date, there are two more major updates scheduled for Season 1, leading right up to December 9, 2025. All the content of the infography above will be free for all players.
Battlefield 6 Season 1 Roadmap
EA has detailed the timetable for Battlefield 6. The main updates are scheduled as follows:
- Short: Blackwell Fields (October 28), Eastwood (November 18), Winter Offensive (9 December)
- States: Knit point (October 28), Sabotage (November 18)
- Arms: SOR-300SC, GGH-22, Mini Scout (October 28), DB-12, M357 Trait (November 18), Ice Climbing AX (9 December)
- Vehicle: Traverses Mark 2 (October 28)

Battlefield 6 Rogue Ops
Rogue ops arrive on October 28 and starts Battlefield 6 Season 1. This first phase includes three new weapons, a new map, a vehicle, a multiplayer mode, attachments and more.
The new map is Blackwell Fields, a resumed US airbase in California Badlands. Knitting points also arrive, a new 4V4 –holding factual state with only one life per day. Plays each round.
Battlefield 6 California’s resistance
California Resistance is the second major update for Season 1 and it will be released on November 18, 2025. You can jump into the brand new Eastwood card and try two new weapons. Sabotage is a condition of limited time that is for 8V8 teams. Destroy so many possible places before the round time is done. Battle pickups are high -tech weapons that are limited in ammunition and available in the whole of a given Battlefield 6 Cards and they will be available as part of this update. The two new weapons are DB-12-Haklen and the M327 pulling side.
Battlefield 6 Winter offensive
Finally, the Winter Offensive Update arrives on December 9, 2025. This last phase of Season 1 adds a winter variant of the Empire State as well as Ice Lock Limited-Time Event (this limited time event is centered around a mechanic called Freeze, which is a gameplay modifier that is only active in specific experiences). The ice cream climbing ax is also added as a new melee weapons setting.
