It will be many months until Supergirl Flying into theaters. With the next DC Universe (DCU) movie, which was handed over on June 26, 2026 release date last May, we still have a long wait on our hands for the girl of Steel’s first big screen adventure of over 40 years.
Nevertheless, it is never too early to get thrown on his role. Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl
After winning the match to play DCU’s Supergirl in January 2024, Alcock will repeat his role as Kara Zor-El in Superhero’s First Silver Screen project since the 1984s Supergirl film.

As for Alcock, her big break came in season 1 of Dragon House. The first Game of Thrones Prequel to air at HBO Max, it saw Alcock play a young Rhaenyra Targaryen. Last seen in Netflix’s SirensAlcock has also appeared in other shows including VerticalAt Gloamingand Bill.
Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll
Another rising star, Ridley will have a significant supportive role in this DCU chapter 1 movie. She wants to produce Ruthye Marye Knoll, a young warrior who sees Supergirl to help Ruthye trace and accurate revenge on the man who killed Ruthye’s father.
The first picture of Supergirl showed Kara in a place that will be very well known for DC Comic Book fans. It is actually the place where the couple first cross trails in Woman tomorrowSo it is inevitable that Ruthye will encounter Kara in the same place in the film previously known as Supergirl: Tomorrow Woman. But I get off-track. Like Alcock, Ridley made a name for himself in the form of a highly expected TV project. That series? Netflix’s 3 body problemalias the live-action adaptation of Liu Cixin’s mind-bending book trilogy. Ridley’s working conditions for the world’s best streaming service also continues to be with the starlet, which is allegedly set to appear in The Witcher Season 4 and Blue Eye Samurai Season 2.
Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem
After months of speculation, Gunn (via the DC Studios -Podcast) confirmed that Schoenaerts is playing Supergirl‘s primary villain.
He is known as Krem from the yellow hills and is a rump pirate responsible for murdering Ruthye’s father. A skilled hand-to-hand and long-range warring, Krem will not be a pushover, even for such a physically powerful as Kara Zor-El.
Another actor with a Netflix association is Schoenaert’s undoubtedly best known for being part of the role crew in the 2020s The old guard and its successor 2025. The Belgian actor has also appeared in films including CeilingAt BullheadAt Rust and bonesand Amsterdam.
Jason Momoa as Lobo
The first actor to appear as different characters in DCU and its predecessor DC Extended Universe (DCEU), Jason Momoa has traded in his DCEU Aquaman role to play a fan-favorite anti-hero in Gunn and Peter Safran’s Nascent Cinematic Franchise.
The only survivor of an almost immortal foreign race knows as the Czaris runs Lobo Kosmos as a motorcycle ridden mercenary. A skilled Markmann, Lobo, also possesses Metahuman skills, including superhuman strength, spot, agility and reflexes. David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham as Zor-El and Alura In-ze
As the name of Krumholtz’s character suggests, he and Beecham will produce Kara’s parents in Flick. It confirms everything Supergirl Will include flashbacks to crypton’s destruction and/or demand for the planet’s destruction and help establish Kara’s current worldview.
Best known for its role in Santa Claus Franchise, Krumholtz has also appeared in flicks including 10 things i hate by youThe Harold and Kumar movie series, and Oppenheimer. On the TV front he was recently in season 2 of the recognized peacock -tv -original Poker face And in season 1 of the multi-prize-winning Apple TV-Original The study.
Meanwhile Beecham will be well known for fans of Netflix’s genre bend 1899 TV show as well as other small screen projects such as Into BadlandsAt The villageAt King and conquerorand The persecution of love. In terms of film, her most notable performance came in 2017’s Daphne, whom Beecham was nominated for several awards.
Ouzo dog like the crypto superdogen
Another character that debuted in DCU SupermanKrypto The Superdog will join Kara and Ruthye on their intergalactic journey to find cream.
A full CGI character, Kara’s loyal dogmate is based on Gunn’s own dog ouzo. A vicious rescue dog, Ouzo is often named by Gunn as the most important inspiration for the 2025s Superman. In fact, Gunn has regularly told the story of how Ouzo was his way in during Gunn’s struggle to bring the story to Man of Steel’s latest film adventure.
