Cody Johnson canceled his performances from 2025.
The country singer, nominated for this year’s entertainer at the Commoming Country Music Association Awards (CMAS), went to social media to break the disturbing news.
“While fought for a severe upper respiratory tract infection and sinus infection, I jumped my eardrum,” he shared, revealing he would need urgent surgery.
“The healing process will take many weeks and it is not possible for me to sing during this time,” Johnson added.
“I ask for full healing so I can be good and return to doing what I love,” he concluded.
Johnson had six dates back in 2025 at his current arenatome and would now return to the stage on February 4, 2026.
In mid -September, the Human Hitmaker canceled shows in Columbus due to health questions and wrote at the time:
“I arrived home Monday after my shows in Nebraska felt fine. On Tuesday, I felt I was coming down with a mild cold. I took every caution that I could: IVS, medicine, even sweat in the sauna … Unfortunately today I woke up without a singing voice: severe cough, burning breast and throat.”
It is relevant to mention that Cody Johnson has had a successful couple of years so far.
His latest album, Leather, Won CMA’s album of the Year in 2024 and in 2025 in addition to this year’s Entertainer, he is also up to this year’s male vocalist, music event of the year and the music video of the year for the year for the year for the year for the year for the year I will love you With Carrie Underwood.
