Islamabad:
President of the Senate of Pakistan, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, has arrived at Bridgetown, Barbados, to attend the 68th Commonwealth -Parliamentary Conference.
At the opening ceremony, President Gilani was warmly received by representatives of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) and senior officials.
Gilani expressed the appreciation of the warm hospitality expanded by the government and people in Barbados, and praised the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association to serve as an important platform for Inter-parliamentary dialogue, cooperation and shared learning among the Member States.
