Meghan Markle’s ongoing alienation from her father, Thomas Markle, continues to trigger public debate in the United States, with many considering family bonds as saints.
Thomas, who missed the Duchess of Sussex’s wedding in 2018 to Prince Harry due to health problems, has repeatedly relied on reconciliation.
He even expressed his desire to meet his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet “Before he dies” in an interview from 2021.
While his appeals have touched sympathy among viewers, a source said Megahn remains firm in his decision.
“There is a belief among Americans that family is coming before pride and that is why some can not relate to Meghan anymore,” the source told Radar online.
They added, “They think she’s too quick to go away, whether it’s from Royals or her own father.
“It’s become emotional for people – and it’s not about politics or race, but about heart and feelings.”
