The third start of rookie -quarterback Jaxson Dart’s career was arguably his best. Rookie threw in 195 yards in New York Giants 34-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.
But before Dart could officially celebrate the second win in his NFL career, the 22-year-old went into the medical tent to be evaluated for a possible concussion. Russell Wilson, who was Giants’ Starting for the first three games, went short into Thursday evening’s game.
Giant’s head coach Brian Daboll was visibly upset when Dart left the game. The team’s headmaster, Dr. Scott A. Rodeo, then caught at the intersection.

“If you’ve ever been to an NFL’s side line, there are a lot of emotions,” Daboll said under his accessibility after Media aftergame. “There’s a lot of feelings. And I’m definitely an emotional guy. I apologized directly to our team doctor. I just wanted his a-out there if he was fine. But I would have the process- like we were ready to go after it on a potential fourth down. I would have burned a timeout if he could have come out there. So I asked how long it would take?”
At one point in Dart’s time with the medical staff, Daboll went into the tent to presumably check the young quarterback. Giant’s president and CEO John Mara said he had a conversation with Daboll about his actions during the game.

“I was talking to Coach Daboll this morning about approaching the medical tent last night. While I am convinced, as he has said he did not try to influence the process in any way, he understands the appearance of going to the tent is inappropriate,” Mara said in a statement.
“We have protocols in place as a league to ensure player safety, and we have to allow our medical staff to perform these protocols without interference. We understand that the situation is undergoing the NFL and NFLPA, and of course we will cooperate fully.”
Daboll said he respects the medical staff and repeated his apology.
“Then again, you want your guy out there, not in danger of anything else. But you know he came out.” I think he’ll be good. ” I’m like ‘will he be good or not?
Giants have now won two of their last three matches. Meanwhile, the Eagles have fallen two straight.
