The first secretary of Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, Shoaib Sarwar and other diplomats on Friday put the traditional Chaddar at the shrine of Hazrat Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya (RA), whose 722. Urs are celebrated these days.
According to an official statement, the diplomats were welcome by the depot manager of the shrine Dewan Syed Tahir Nizami. After putting the traditional Chaddar, participants offered Dua and asked for Pakistan’s progress and prosperity. The diplomats also paid respect at the shrine of Hazrat Amir Khusro (RA), which is within the same connection.
The shrine of the shrine also performed dastar bandi of the diplomat. Dastarbandi is a ceremonial turban-binding ritual for dignitaries.
Sarwar, who pays tribute to glowing tribute to the role of Sufi Saints in the Indian subcontinent, said that shrines of Sufis act as centers to learn peace, devotion and spirituality.
“The foreign love of humanity, encouraged to Interfaith -dialogue, promoted unity and bridge connections in society. Sufier’s universal teachings remain as relevant today as they were centuries ago,” he added.
