Forbidden TTP perceived as PTI’s militant wing, says Atta Tarar

LAHORE: Failed a fresh sage against Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) said Information Minister Atta Tarar on Saturday it was an impression in the country that banned Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has become the militant wing of IMRAN Khan-Founded Party.

Tarar said some elements dealt with a press conference in Lahore and said certain elements prevented efforts to restore peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and that unrest tried to destabilize the province.

He added that the entire nation is united to eradicate trerrorism from the country.

The minister praised the nation’s determination against terrorism and credited operations such as Radd-Ul-Fasaad and Zarb-E-AZB for significantly debilitating militant networks.

He claimed that certain “political actors” brought militants back to the country under a plan.

The minister also smooths serious accusations against the KP cabinet and claimed that “wood and drug amafes” operated within it.

He questioned why the provincial government had failed to intervene against the tobacco and wooden tremapies or slow down the use of non-adapted vehicles.

He also called PTI, “Tehreek-E-Intishar” (Chaos Movement) and said it has nothing to do with the country’s sovereignty and victims of martyrs.

“Tehreek-E-Intishar is the only party that shows no consideration of the victims of our martyrs or for national sovereignty. Its real goal is to create chaos in KP rather than tackle the genuine concerns of the people,” Tarar told journalists.

When he repeated the state’s decision, the minister said the government is determined to eliminate the threat of terrorism and would not allow militants to operate in Pakistan.

“There is no room for terrorism,” he said, adding, “we will eliminate terrorism and will not rest until the last terrorist is removed.”

PTI rejects accusations

Meanwhile, PTI General Secretary Salman Acram Raja denied accusations and called for a comprehensive anti-terror strategy.

Basic claims were leveled against PTI one day earlier, “Raja added.

“We call for a comprehensive strategy so that innocent people do not lose their lives during operations. We will eliminate terrorists from our earth.”

A day earlier, Director General (DG) Inter -Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry withdrew a sharp contrast of governance in Sindh, Punjab and KP.

By tackling a pressing, DG ISPR on Friday the Pakistani army’s decision to proclaim terrorism and settle “political criminal Nexus”, which he says is responsible for the increase in the terrorist attacks in the province, ruled by PTI.

“In Sindh and Punjab, Government exists – the police and the law enforcement authorities work. But in KP, rather than improving governance and the rule of law, politicized terrorism under the form of provincialism. Isn’t that a criminal act in itself?” He asked.
