Jets remain Winless as Broncos crushes violation in victory

Denver Broncos’ defense fired on all cylinders and played a massive role in the team’s 13-11 win over the New York Jets in London on Sunday.

Broncos held Jets’ violation to 82 yards on 12 total drives. New York average 1.4 yards per Play and the web minus-10 passing yards.

Denver’s violation didn’t have to do too much in the game, but it was Bo Nix’s 16-Yard Touchdown Pass for Nate Adkins in the first quarter that turned out to be the biggest difference maker in the victory. The second year Quarterback was 19-of-30 with 174 passing yards. He was only fired once.

Jets’ defense was able to register their first pick -up of the season and force a storage call that resulted in a security, but it didn’t matter when Justin Fields led to a fuzzy violation that couldn’t do much of anything.

Frustrated Garrett Wilson gives Jet’s head coach Aaron Glenn a penny at the break

Fields were 9-of-17 with 45 passing yards. He was fired nine times and got only 31 rushing yards on seven bears. The last sack came on fourth down when head coach Aaron Glenn chose to go for it instead of trying a 62-yard Nick people. Fields were swallowed up almost immediately.

Breece Hall led the game with 59 rushing yards on 22 bears. Josh Reynolds and Garrett Wilson each had three receptions. Reynolds registered 25 yards, while Wilson had only 13 yards. Andrew Beck, Mason Taylor and Isaiah Davis had each reception.

Denver forced no revenue in the victory, but it was the passport that did the damage. Jonathon Cooper had two sacks and Justin Strnad had 1.5 sacks in the victory.

Broncos moved to 4-2 on the season. Jets are 0-6.
