Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visits Egypt on Monday to participate in Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit and participate in the signing ceremony for a peace agreement aimed at the serious situation in Gaza.
According to the Foreign Office, the prime minister attends the Summit of Invitation by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and US President Donald Trump. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and other senior members in the cabinet will pour the prime minister during the visit.
Sharm el-Sheikh summit is the result of diplomatic efforts initiated on the sidelines of the 80th session at the UN General Assembly in New York last month.

Earlier, on September 23, Prime Minister Shehbaz ended the leaders of seven Arab-Islamic countries, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Indonesia and Türkiye-I a summit at the summit with the US president to explore ways to achieve peace in Gaza.
In a joint statement, the participating Arab-Islamic nations welcomed President Trump’s efforts to restore peace and confirm their commitment to work with the United States to ensure extensive and sustainable ceasefire while approaching the serious humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The Foreign Office said the prime minister’s participation reflects Pakistan’s historical and unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s right to self -determination and for lasting peace and stability in the region.
Pakistan hopes that Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit will pave the way for a full Israeli withdrawal, the protection of Palestinian civilians, an end to their displacement, release of prisoners and reconstruction of Gaza.
Islamabad also expects the ongoing peace effort to help launch a credible political process leading to an independent, viable and coherent state of Palestine, with al-QD’s al-Sharif as its capital, which is based on borders before 1967, in accordance with the relevant UN resolutions and Arab peace initiatives.

US President Donald Trump and other world leaders were ready to convene Egypt for a major peace meeting.
Trump will first pass through Israel and turn to parliament and meet hostage families on Monday before going to Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh for the summit, where a ‘document ending the war in the Gaza Strip’ is expected to be signed, according to Kairo’s Foreign Ministry.

After Trump’s visit to Israel on Monday, he and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will be chairman of a summit with leaders from more than 20 countries in the Red Sea town of Sharm el-Sheikh, the Egyptian Presidency announced.
“The meeting will focus on ending the war in the Gaza Strip, improving the efforts to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East and initiate a new era of regional security,” it said. Hamas and Israel are not expected to participate. UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has said, he will participate.
