Rana Sanaullah urges PTI to ‘stand with the army’

Faisalabad:

The Prime Minister’s adviser to political affairs Rana Sanaullah has said if PTI wants to pursue politics in the country, it must stand with its armed forces today.

“If so [PTI] Standing with the Pakistani army, their martyrs and Pakistan today without any IFS or Buts, then a path forward can open to them, “Sana said Sunday, talking at a press conference in his native city of Faisalabad. PM’s adviser apparently referred to the Pakistani army’s response to the Afghan power firing along the western border.

According to security sources, Afghan forces opened on Saturday night unprovoked fire in several places along the border-inclusive Angoor Adda, Bajaur, Kurram, DIR and chitral areas in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Zhob District in Balochistan Province.

The firing, they added, were aimed at facilitating the cross-border movement of the formations of “Khawarij” -TTP operatives. The positions of the Pakistani army responded quickly and vigorously.

Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday said 23 soldiers from the Pakistani army embraced martyrdom during the clash, which also left 200 Taliban and the TTP operates died.

One day before the clashes, the ISPR chief had publicly criticized PTI, who controls Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province and advised it to work to protect the people of the province instead of “begging” the Taliban led Afghanistan on security.

In response to the ISPR chief’s press conference, PTI said the blame for terrorism could not be placed on any single party and that the question of terror can only be resolved through dialogue.

Salman Akram Raja said PTI is facing any force against Pakistan, “but terrorism but terrorism, but terrorism but terrorism, but terrorism but terrorism, but terror can be removed through military power – the founder against any strength against the media. [Imran Khan] have said the same. Balochistan and KP are bleeding. “

Raja claimed that under PTI’s rule at the center were incidents with terrorism at their lowest. Although former Afghan President Ashraf Ghani had ties to India’s research and analysis wing (RAW), terrorism fell into KP, “he said.

He questioned why Pakistan had distanced himself from the Afghan government. He said IMRAN had ordered reforms in the province, which was a positive step. “Every time attempts were made to push a political party back, violence and blood emit,” he observed.

Raja remembered that PML-N led the federal government itself began conversations with TTP in 2022. “[PML-N’s] Rana Sanaullah also talked about negotiations with the Taliban. We have to decide who brought these militants back in 2021, ”he demanded.
